How to receive a remittance sent to Alipay.

There are two ways to receive funds through Alipay in China:

1. Receive funds through your Alipay Wallet|
   • No bank account linking is required, making it easier to receive funds.
   • Hong Kong and Macao residents can also receive funds through their Alipay Wallet if they have a Mainland Travel Permit.
2. Receive funds through a bank account linked to Alipay
   • You must verify your name, ID type, and ID number, and add a bank card to receive the funds successfully.

◈ To receive funds through Alipay, please follow the steps below:

1. Please check the recipient's account information:
   • Recipient's Alipay ID
   •  Recipient's exact first and last name in English, as entered when opening the bank account linked to Alipay
2. Please refer to the tutorial for instructions on receiving funds through your Alipay Wallet or a linked bank account.

◈ To receive funds through your Alipay Wallet, please follow the steps below:

     Depending on the recipient's payment priority settings, the funds may be paid to a bank card instead.

1. Set your payment preference:
     1) The recipient must complete real-name verification in the Alipay app.
     2) Agree to the Wallet service terms.
     3) Set Wallet as the preferred payment method.
   
2. The remittance purpose must be selected as either "Salary" or "Family Support" by the sender when applying for the transfer.
3. The recipient's name must be a Chinese name in Pinyin to receive the funds through the Wallet.
   

※ If the recipient is unable to link a bank account, please try one of the following:

1. Select a different bank account.
2. Contact the bank linked to Alipay to update the account information.

※ Please refer to the following information before sending your remittance:

• Each recipient can receive funds a maximum of 15 times per month, including both Wallet and bank card transactions.
• Transfers to business or corporate accounts are not available.
• Funds cannot be received through an account belonging to someone other than the recipient whose account information was entered when making the transfer.
• The transfer can only be completed if the bank account linked to Alipay is valid and accurate.
