How to receive a remittance via China UnionPay

For remittances to China, funds can be received through a bank account linked to UnionPay.

◈ Information needed for remittance request

• Receiver's full name (must be entered in English)
• Receiver's mobile number
• Remittance purpose & source of funds
• Relationship with the receiver
• Receiver's UnionPay card number

◈ Receiver's limit

• One-time limit 21,000 CNY
• Can receive funds up to 4 times per day
• Can receive funds up to 6 times within 30 days. 
  ※ The 30-day period starts from the date of the first UnionPay remittance and is not based on a calendar month.

◈ Please refer to the following information before requesting.

• Only Chinese nationals can receive the remittance.
• The name of the sender will appear as WireBarleyCorp in the receiver's bank account.
• The remittance may be canceled due to the circumstances of the receiving bank.
• The remittance delivered to an incorrect UnionPay Card cannot be canceled. Make sure to enter the correct UnionPay card number.
