How to receive a remittance sent to Weixin Pay

Receiving with Weixin can be done in one of the two ways.

1. How to receive with Weixin Wallet
   *There is no need to link a bank account, you can receive it more convenient.

2. How to receive money from a bank account linked to Weixin
   *After verifying your phone number, you must add a [bank card] to receive it normally.

◈ How to set the receiving method

    Please refer to the image below for details.

1. Make sure you have signed up for Weixin and have downloaded the app.
2. If you receive a text message with a Weixin link, select the link.
3. Verify your phone number.
4. Select a payment method to receive money.
   • You can set your preferred payment method in advance: Weixin wallet or bank account.
5. Enter the recipient information (recipient address, occupation, etc.).
6. The money will be deposited via your chosen payment method.
   • If payment is not possible with the set payment method, you can change to another payment method.

◈ How to set the receiving method when the SMS link does not open

1. Make sure you have signed up for Weixin and have downloaded the app.
2. Please select the Weixin chat menu.
3. Enter "微汇款" in the search bar at the top of the app and search.
4. Select the searched "微汇款" official account to enter.
5. Enter "收款" in the text field at the bottom and select the receive link.
6. After that, please proceed from [How to set the receiving method] from step 4.

※ Please refer to the following information before sending remittance.

• Weixin receiver can receive up to 500,000 CNY per year.
  The limit you can receive with your Weixin wallet is 300,000 CNY per year.
• The remittance may be canceled if the sender's age is under 18 or over 76.
• You can receive up to 10 times a month per recipient.
• Bank binding is carried out only once per remittance number.
• If the name of the recipient does not match the name on the Weixin account, or
  If you have not entered the correct phone number linked to Weixin, the remittance may be canceled.
  
• If the receiving method is not set in the Weixin app within 48 hours, the remittance may be canceled.
• Refunds will be processed within 2~3 business days (weekdays) from the date of refund request or cancellation of remittance.
• To receive with Weixin wallet, needs to select the purpose of remittance as either 'Salary' or 'Family Support' when requesting remittance.
